Art Deco and Modernism are everywhere! Whether in the shape of architecture, interior design, fashion, filming, industrial design, and visual or graphic arts, we are wrapped by its patterns.
Curated by Elvia Castro, “A Visual Code” is inspired by Art Deco and Modernist architecture. In honor of Architectural Month, the show features the work of 20+ International artists, whose work is influenced by both Art Deco and modernist movements.
The opening reception will include a Press Conference and Panel to announce the details of the Miami Design Preservation League’s “World Congress on Art Deco” and “NoMi Art Deco Week”.
The exhibit and events are supported by: Miami Design Preservation League, International Coalition of Art Deco Societies, Miami's American Institute of Architects, and Miami Center for Architects and Design.
