Disímiles signos y símbolos culturales conectan a ambos territorios: la arquitectura ecléctica, los refinados diseños decimonónicos, atributos masónico, la tumba francesa, etc. Estos vínculos, quizá lejanos, se revitalizan ahora a través de la técnica video mapping que llega a la Isla con la intervención del colectivo francés ANTIvj; punto de partida de las futuras incursiones de MINImax VJ en este tipo de procedimientos. De Francia a Santiago… aprovecha este intersticio artístico para extender el primer espectáculo visual de este tipo fuera de La Habana que, como propusieran los artistas franceses durante el 2011, se aleje de los presupuestos tradicionales de la animación 3D para convertir la fachada del Palacio Municipal, el edificio del gobierno en una suerte de escenario que recrea y estrecha la simbiosis cultural. Todo ello es un regodeo dentro del propio lenguaje del mapping que pretenden estetizar y construir un efecto de hiperrealidad en el espectador.
